Rules Engine

Your own rules, and how they relate to the engine's verdict.

Your own rules, running beside the engine's verdict.

This section is in Beta. Anything the backend cannot do yet is shown as a disabled control with its reason, never as a fake success.

How it relates to the engine's verdict#

The engine scores from what it measured. Your rules express what only you know: your own thresholds, your own allowlists, exceptions that are true of your business and nobody else's.

They do not rewrite the measurements. A signal that fired is still in the record and still shown on Identification, which is what keeps the ability to re-score history from being destroyed.

How it relates to the blocklist#

Security is where a person's decision about one visitor, one address or one device is recorded. It belongs to the operator category, the only one that outranks every measurement.

The Rules Engine is general: it speaks about kinds of visit, not about one person.
